New microsite for YouTube legends

The team at Evoluted were given a chance to work hard and play hard on their latest project.

We were asked by YouTube comedy legends Weebl’s Stuff to design and develop a micro site for an exciting new game being launched on iPhone and iPad.

The game, Russian Dancing Men, has been created by Weebl’s Stuff and SmashMouth Games and features award-winning animation and side-splitting songs. Weebl’s Stuff is one of the most popular channels on YouTube, with over 125 million views of their songs and animations and some of the best-loved characters on the web.

In the new game, which is available now, players must lead a crack Russian dance troupe to safety by jiving through hoops, twisting over spikes and prancing over perilous pits.

To complement the fun nature of the game Evoluted came up with a colourful and eye-catching design for the micro site which features Russian Dancing Men graphics. As usual Evoluted developed a custom website design while still incorporating the client’s existing branding.

As well as being visually appealing the micro site features links through to social media networking websites Twitter and Facebook as well as a link to the App Store where the game can be reviewed and downloaded. It also features a preview of the game.

In the case of the Russian Dancing Men project this meant incorporating existing themes from the game and combining this with a custom design to create a fun, bright and fresh-looking micro site which should appeal to the game’s users.”
