Products
The system allows for unlimited categories and products; each product within the system can be associated with any number of categories, thus increasing exposure. Products have unlimited associated images and the option of an associated video showing the product in action. Information stored in the database will need to be discussed in further detail but all fields are fully editable via the CMS admin interface.

User Accounts
User accounts are required for making a purchase within the e-commerce area of the website; this allows for full order tracking. Users have the ability to login and edit information associated with their accounts, view previous orders and their associated statuses. If a user forgets their password, a lost password facility exists to allow automated recovery.

Discount Codes
The inclusion of a discounting system allows discounts to be offered site wide, on a category level or even down to the product level. Once the discount code has been entered and setup via the CMS admin interface then it is available for all to use. Codes are required to be entered during the checkout process for the discount to apply. An option is included within the system to allow discount codes to be contained within links. This allows for users to click a link, from a email newsletter for example, and have the discount applied automatically.

Delivery Options
Delivery pricing can be setup as per the requirements of the client; each implementation is bespoke. In previous e-commerce systems created by Evoluted New Media, shipping has been calculated by weight, destination, price, the number of items ordered and even a combination of all these options.

Multiple Currencies
Full currency management options are included and are controlled via the CMS administration area where the exchange rate for each currency is required to be entered. Products within the system are priced in a base currency (usually GBP) and then converted to the currency requested by the end user. This system allows for an unlimited number of alternative currencies.

Multiple Payment Providers
We work with a range of payment providers, including Protx, Worldpay, Paypal and NoChex to ensure that our payment systems are efficient and secure.
