Segway Events

Established back in 2010, Segway Events has grown to become the leading provider of Segway services in the UK. With TV appearances under their belt including Sky One’s A League of Their Own and the London Paralympic Games, they’ve evolved from an industry pioneer into the heavyweight of the division.

Due to such expansion, Segway events’ old website simply couldn’t meet their needs in the present day. To help cater for the increased interest in their services, they tasked Evoluted with the delivery of a new site that would help them appeal to mobile browsers and excel in search. By listening to their key objectives for the site, we got to work developing the solution they required.

Project Details

Having recognised the need for more powerful website functionality, Segway Events were keen to ensure the new build helped user navigation and simplified the booking process. Lots of questions are now asked up front ahead of experiences. Whilst this does require lots of information to be provided, it does avoid queries eating into experiences on the day.

We also updated the ‘flow’ for those using the site to make bookings. Participants are now able to take part and book experiences at the same time, on the same day; with availability kept up to date at all points. The previous site did not deliver this essential functionality.

The new site is helping Segway Events to satisfy the needs of their clients. The site shows reviews from Feefo and the company was recently awarded the Gold Trust Service Award 2018.
